NDIS Support Coordinator | Toowoomba
Magenta has experienced rapid growth over the past two years and is now looking for a Support Coodinator to help us continue to deliver the best possible services to NDIS participants across the Toowoomba area.
As a Support Coordinator with magenta, you will be supporting and empowering NDIS Participants to exercise choice and control in the implementation of NDIS plans. To be effective you will need to develop and maintain effective, collaborative, and strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the region. You also need to be able to think outside the square and be innovative in co-creating care solution with participant and NDIS Providers.
You will be part of a team that is distributed across regional areas in NSW and QLD. While based in Toowoomba alongside our direct care and corporate services teams, you will be supported remotely by the Lead Support Coordinator.
We are looking for someone with a unique combination of qualifications, experience and personal attributes, including:
- A passion for supporting people with disabilities and older people to overcome barriers and achieve their best.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a direct care worker, as a team leader or complex care support worker.
- A curious mind with the desire and ability to investigate problems and work closely with stakeholders to develop innovative, effective and person-centred solutions.
- Solid understanding of the NDIS framework.
- Ability to write professional reports to a high standard.
- Ability to travel to regional centres across central and southern QLD and north NSW.
